New College Bradford Celebrates Fantastic First Set of Results

Students, staff and governors are today celebrating New College Bradford’s very first set of A Level and Level 3 Applied General results. The city centre-based college was the second college, after New College Doncaster, to join New College Pontefract in the New Collaborative Learning Trust in 2019.

The results showed an A Level pass rate of 100%, with 58% achieving an A*-B grade. Level 3 Applied General results were remarkable with 100% pass rate and 89% of students achieving a Distinction or Distinction* grade.

New College Bradford Principal, Stuart Nash said, “We are thrilled to have received our first set of results at New College Bradford and I would like to pay tribute to the staff and students that have worked hard to have achieved these results. The fact that our students succeeded in achieving excellent grades, on the back of extensive in-college assessments and following external moderation, speaks volumes about their excellent resilience, hard-work and commitment. We offer our warmest congratulations as students move on to university or employment and we’re hugely excited about greeting our new students for September.”

Trust CEO, Richard Fletcher said, “Congratulations, too, go to our teaching and support staff, who have strived during these challenging times to give our students an exceptional experience. This year, we are delighted that New College Bradford students have secured their first full year of results in these difficult times, giving them the best possible start to life after college, whether that be in education, training or the world of work. The fact that they have performed so well reflects their hard work, commitment and resilience.”

The college offers a huge choice of over 50 A-Levels and Level 3 BTECs, with the ability to mix and match courses to provide a bespoke study programme for each student. Visit the website for further details and for open event dates at www.ncbradford.ac.uk.
