Counselling
Here at New College Bradford we care greatly about our student’s emotional well-being. We have qualified Counsellor on site throughout term time for anyone wishing to talk to someone confidentially about issues that they are dealing with.
Counselling provides you with an opportunity to think and talk confidentially in a private, safe and non-judgmental environment. The aim of the process is to help you identify and explore issues, feelings, thoughts and problems that may be causing you concern and distress, thus preventing you from leading the life you want to live.
All referrals must be made by the individual wishing to engage within the counselling process and can be made in the following way:
- Complete the on line registration form within the counselling section on Moodle
The counsellor is available on the following days:
- Lizzie Sagar or Chris O’Conner – Monday to Thursday 08:30 till 16:30

Drop-in sessions are also available without an appointments, they are 15 minutes long and you do not need an appointment, they are great for anyone who wants a quick chat if they are feeling they need a few minutes just to talk to someone confidentially for some immediate support.
Drop in sessions are available on the following days:
Monday : 12.00 till 13.00
Thursdays : 12.00 till 13.00
